The Indiana Chamber and the Wellness Council of Indiana provided the A to Z’s of providing a business wellness program. Sessions presented how to change habits, improve nutrition, increase activity, and reduce stress management with innovative solutions to supporting a worksite culture of health. Presentations from programs that work and overviews of laws support the best practices of providing quality wellness programming.
The #1 strategy to providing a quality wellness program is providing an individualized “face to face” wellness coach for each employee. All employees are in a different place in their journey to a healthy life style. Cost effective programs are possible to show a return on investment. Outcome data should drive each wellness program to show the program is making a difference.
